Our Story

Modern Air was founded by Chris, a well-seasoned heavy equipment mechanic with years of hands-on experience in the field. After spending countless hours repairing machines and sourcing parts, Chris grew more and more frustrated with the steep markups and inflated prices charged by dealers. He saw a clear opportunity to do better.

Recognizing the growing need for more affordable, OEM parts for heavy equipment, trucks, and agricultural machinery, Chris set out to create a platform that puts the customer first—especially independent mechanics, small fleet operators, and owner/operators who also wince at dealer pricing. His vision was simple: offer the same OEM parts without the outrageous dealer markup, and help working professionals save time and money.

To bring that vision to life, Chris teamed up with his longtime friend Sean. With a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a background in social media and sales, Sean brought the branding and outreach that Modern Air needed. But where Sean truly shines is in customer service. He’s built a strong reputation for going above and beyond to make sure every customer is satisfied, no matter what it takes.
